From next year, WhatsApp will be discontinued on various phones worldwide
WhatsApp discontinues support on a handful of
mobile platforms in 2020. As a result, this messaging app, which is
popular on millions of phones worldwide, cannot be used. After December
31, WhatsApp will be shut down on all Windows Phone phones worldwide. WhatsApp
will be discontinued on February 1, 2020 on iOS 8 or older operating systems. The
popular messaging service is also discontinuing on Android 2.3.7 or older
phones.
WhatsApp recently reported this in a blog post. Creating a new
account for customers already using the above operating system has stopped. For
some reason, once WhatsApp is deleted from these phones, there is no longer a
login.
After December 31, 2019, WhatsApp support for Windows phones is
shutting down.
Facebook bought WhatsApp for $ 19 billion in 2014. Facebook is
trying to bring Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp under one umbrella.
On the other hand, worldwide WhatsApp subscribers have been having
trouble sending and receiving messages since Tuesday night. Customers in
Europe, Mexico, the United States and South America encountered this problem.
The call waiting feature was added to WhatsApp earlier this week. This
feature was added a few months ago for iOS customers. Now Android
subscribers can also use call waiting on WhatsApp.
