WhatsApp is closing! The people of Kashmir are in danger
WhatsApp is again at the
center of the discussion. It turns out that the groups of Kashmir
residents who were involved in the chat are disappearing from it! Many
consumers have mentioned the current situation on social media. Meanwhile
in Kashmir, the Internet is closed for 120 days. Gadgets 360 has been
notified by WhatsApp, which is why these customers are no longer active. That's
why their account has been closed. Many of these customers will lose their
account data as usual. This includes chat logs, images, videos. If
they do not back up within 7 days of deactivating the account, they will lose
that data as usual.
Many people this week made reference to the Kashmiri people on
their contact list disappearing from various WhatsApp groups. When they
saw this, they were amazed. They argued that since internet services were
completely shut down in Kashmir for months, how could they get out of various
WhatsApp groups?
Many also say that WhatsApp authorities have found out which
Kashmiri residents live on WhatsApp. A WhatsApp spokesman told Gadgets 360
that the company's inactive account policies are behind the sudden
disappearance.
"WhatsApp allows all customers to keep in touch with their
friends and relatives in private," he said. Usually the account
closes after 120 days of inactivity. And if that happens, those accounts
are automatically deleted from all groups. "
One customer on Twitter said, "Kashmir contacts are being
automatically deleted from the WhatsApp group from today. I know they
won't even see my messages. It is symbolic of the heart breaking. "
India is one of WhatsApp's largest markets. According to
the July estimate this year, the Facebook-owned company has a subscriber base
of 40 billion.
